I wonder how you'd sing if it was Celtic on the receiving end

Yawn. Scottish Premiership football is the equivalent of seeing who can post the most interesting thread out of Eek and Wim121 on CUK.

The difference was we continued paying our taxes and worked our way back to the top by abiding by the rules and applying fiscal responsibility.
Only fair that we now reap the rewards of such prudence. Especially when you consider we have been robbed of a great many cups and titles through Rangers not paying their way.

Are you saying that all footballers at Celtic get paid via PAYE without anything on the side like say "image rights" paid to Ltds/Trusts that ultimately pay to the footballer but at lower rate of tax?Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostThe difference was we continued paying our taxes and worked our way back to the top by abiding by the rules and applying fiscal responsibility.Comment

It appears that such rigorous application of taxation rules has not been the case at Rangers for quite some considerable period of time. And as a result a huge flock of chickens is now coming home to roost.

There had been hints that at least 10 Premiership and Championships were going to get caught out as well. Do we have a list?Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostI am saying that everyone who works for Celtic PLC gets paid in ways which are transparent and legally defensible.

Yes, I heard that too, and that Rangers were going to be used to set legal precedent in the mismanagement of EBT application.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostThere had been hints that at least 10 Premiership and Championships were going to get caught out as well. Do we have a list?
Don't have any sympathy with any of them really if they have been cooking the books. It is not as if footballers are having to eke out an existence is it?“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain”Comment
