The contract was that if the CVA failed then the Ltd Company would sell the assets to Green for 5.5m leaving the Ltd Company with no assets. That is now happening, BDO will liquidate the empty shell company. There will be no assets in the Ltd company by the time they are appointed.

Which to be honest seems to have been CW's plan all along.

I've written to the club telling them I want us to leave the SPL and start again from Division 3. I have stated my commitment to buy three years worth of season tickets if that is the case. Let's see how much Sky will offer the SPL with no OF games for 3 years. I predict a 1/4 of what they're paying now. So, £4m a year to be split between 12 clubs. Because guess what, with no Rangers in the SPL, the other 11 clubs get the voting majority.

Another team like Hearts will take Rangers place and will be billed as the "Big" game, Sky will pay the same. Rangers are getting what they deserve and rightly so.

Absolute fantasy land.

The stadium was valued at something like 100 million when they were 90 million in debt to keep the books straight. It was a fantasy number and in no way represents its true worth which is probably closer to the 5 million being paid today for it.

Anyway it seems the man who does not do walking away is walking away today.

Firstly they have massive support, and that translates to more resources than anyone else who one might think would replace them.

Secondly, even if they did spend a year or two in penury, there will be demand from everyone else for them to come back, for the financial good of everyone.

Do you think it will really only cost £5m? The reason the value is so low is that there is the "risk" hanging over it, once the £5m is paid do you think the money wikk just start making money again, more money will be needed for sustained investment until the club is financially self sufficant.

TUPE all the players over then flog them, bring in academy kids. Sell the training ground, then simply sell the stadium and shut the business down.

Really? Because if even the Players Union are unsure if they can leave you really need to tell them how you know this, would make it so much easier for them.
