It might also be pouring good money after bad, nobody is quite sure. And you won't get anything like one million takers.
They might end up with a fan-owned club. Some big clubs are owned by fans (i.e. members), famously Barcelona.
The problem isn't member-ownership itself, but getting there. Would you buy into something when you do not know the full extent of its liabilities and penalties? Could you imagine trying to herd and organise such large numbers of people for such a purchase? Who would front it?Comment
