Maybe not all of the public sector but definitely large swathes.

The Underground would be the first one to go.

One less thing to worry about security-wise.

No tube travellers, no Brazillian backpackers to assassinate - simples.

Do you often think about putting your "red hot sword" up strangers' bottoms?

To be honest you would think that public sector workers would want to give visitors a good impression of Great Britain. Maybe there are not enough people proud to be British these days!

Do you realise how thick some public sector workers are?

Maybe there isn't that much to be proud of! Or not enough British around!

They don't give the remotest flying tulip about what the rest of the world thinks, because they don't believe that their livelihoods depend on it.

Private sector outfits need to sell their stuff abroad, get investment from abroad, or derive their business from companies that do.

That (largely) doesn't apply to the public sector - never mind the fact that it's private sector taxes that fund the public sector.

Call their bluff. They won't get what they want - other than to appear as complete and utter twunts

                      Is it 2013 yet?
