So you are battering on about business skill but clearly have no clue what any of the terms I type mean. Bit of an idiot ain't you.
I think you may find that learning some acronyms is totally optional to running a successful business - I don't even want to look them up because I could not give a flying monkey about them

What exactly does the Stock Exchange Daily Official List have to do with business outside w**nkers in the square mile. Its hardly something anyone running a normal business selling goods and services to the general public needs to know.
Edit to point out I didn't look up SEDOL I know it from years ago.
that thingy will appeals to precisely 0.1% children at best.
And what do you base your numbers on?
Have a look for the BBC vid that shows 7 year olds messing with Pi's controlling a LED. A basic start and some didn't get it but like exposing kids to a foreign language early enough giving them hands on with tech like that sows the seeds.
You give 7 year old example... good one! Do kids at this age fully appreciate the choice they have? A well written software to teach even those basics in form of a game for console can succeed better and cheaper: think "Castle of Dr Brain" kind of games from Sierra.
For SKA we bought 64 core server to play with - don't have much time for it sadly

It's not just for 7 year olds of course and the Beeb used that as an example. Seems there's no provision for teaching programming in schools hence the Pi project. Time will tell if your guess is accurate or not, I have no opinion there but have the feeling that something is better than nothing.
It really is a great bit of kit for the money and proving versatile despite being in its infancy. Development on this kind of kit can go in many directions and yeah like us old hacks in days of old similar cheap kit fired up the imagination to explore and for many of us became a career.
Similarly the teaching of music in schools seems to have taken a backseat, good or bad thing? Restricting career paths because of bias or budget is unacceptable in my opinion.
Them - acronyms, do I have to highlight linked elements in my posts just for you?
So you want top claim "Business skills are essential" then boast about not knowing the basics of banking language. You would get laughed out of roles many of this forum hold down.

What does Business Skills have to do with Banking language. Banking Language isn't much use when dealing with advertising agencies or Oil Rig management.

These terms have no relevance to me - even BACS, CHAPS and FPO of zero importance so long as I have good idea how long payment take. Internal bank jargon isn't something I or most businesses that are not banks care about.
