Sorry Elvis, a bit busy. There are a number of online translations which are searchable.
I also dont want to influence anybody elses thinking after all, I may be wrong. Do your own research and come back and discuss it then.

Wee bit of an extreme spin some of the logic here.
Most muslims in this country aren't suporters of suicide bombers, nor do they condone the actions of them. Let's not confuse the vast majority with a small minority of extremists, or we'll end up with a bigger problem on our hands.
The nutters don't represent Islam any more than animal rights loonies represent vegetarians or or BNP does white people.
"we'll end up with a bigger problem on our hands
How much bigger can 'the problem' get? what will they do ... bomb our cities?

Quite a bit bigger I'd imagine, if we run around blaming the actions of a few extremist nutters on a whole innocent section of our population. Can't see how that's justified or helpful.

Whenever a government, or some interest group wishes to diminish the apparent impact of some undesirable action or viewpoint held by a particular group, they trot out the "it's only a tiny minority of..." line.
It's only a tiny minority of...
...Muslims: who are hate-filled radicals
...Footbal Fans: who are mindless, violent thugs
...Children: who are disruptive and beyond control
...British people: who vote Tory
...(and topically) Muslims over 25 who are unemployed (i.e. 50%)
The Tiny Minority has a lot to answer for.
You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.
Out of twenty odd muslins I know only two have condemned the London bombing and 9/11. The rest all support them to a lesser or greater degree. Muslims have been brainwashed since birth that anyone outside their religion is an infidel. They will kill infidels in the same way we kill flies. The longer the government makes excuses; the longer and worse the problem will get. It is only a tiny MINORITY of muslims that don’t support terrorism.

You have it part right Snaw. I dont think you can blame the entire population of Muslims for the acts of some extremeists.
The problem is that you seem to be saying the rest of them are OK because they told you they were.
If you friends are true Muslims then they are bound by their faith to live by the word of God as passed to Mohamed and written in the Koran.
No matter how peaceful and friendly they claim to be deep down they must follow the Koran. The Koran tells them to live among their enemies, to pacify them with good words, to prosper and grow but always with the intention of Islamification and once in power to kill all deniers and non believers (there is a proviso to leave the infidels alone as long as they are making a profit).
If they deny the word of God they are eternally damned and that means a great deal to Muslims.
That is what I got from reading the Koran and the traditions, if I have misinterpretted it then please enlighten me!

I've no idea, I've not personally read it. The muslims I know I judge as people, and I don't personally feel that they've a secret plan to take over Britain and put me to the sword or convert me.
I struggle to imagine the geriatric old shopkeeper down the end of my road with a bloody big sword and manical grin on his face as he forces offers me the choice between Islam and death. I'm guessing he's worried about paying his bills, sending his kids to a good school, a daughters wedding etc. Normal stuff that ordinary people think.
I don't know a single muslim who approves of the bombings. I'm sure they exist but I'd be quite bluntly amazed if 9 out or 10 muslims supported them. They might they say they understand why they did it but that's the same as me saying I understand why the IRA did what they did, but I never supported them - fine but important line of difference.

Most are normal middle of the road people, but there is a lot of discord, and we have to be careful that the general discord does not influence the gullible. Some Muslims polarise disputes into Muslims oppressed by non-Muslims, which is worrying. I knew one likeable UK degree level educated Muslim, born in Afghanistan. He told me that "Hitler had the right idea" but indicated that he "didn't go far enough". I think that sort of anti-sematism is more common among Muslims than some realise. The Sunday Times summarises the results of some surveys, and in places like Leeds significant numbers of Muslims had sympathy with the suicide bombers.
That said, there are far more attacks on Mulsims than on Jews in the UK, though that might be due to the small number of Jews (about 1/4 million) compared to several million Muslims.

My experience too Clog.
I lived and worked in EC1 for too many years to believe that it's only a MINORITY of Muslims that hate our white English (of whatever religeous persuasion) guts. The only way they could every be happy is if we all converted to Islam and took a one-way ticket in a time machine back to 600 AD.
All 'progress' in the form of scientific knowledge, art and culture is to be utterly shunned.
