I want my account deleted and all of my information removed, I want to invoke my right to be forgotten.
Well, just to give you all a peaceful night's sleep. KimberleyChris is two people. We are a married couple from Whitehaven. Chris (me) does 99% of the posting, and Kim has 99% of the brains. So I suppose I am her sockie.
Kim used to browse the website a lot when she was my 'company secretary' so to speak, but now takes almost no interest in it, apart from the funnies.
She never went on 'General' anyway, but used to just browse the helpful stuff about Tax etc.
Not a girly flounce, no. But I had a mass argument and didnt post too much after becoming a new member on a science forum.
We were discussing causes for end of the world and the sun came up. Someone said, that wont happen for billions of years (till the sun is completely dead), I stated that they completely missed out the red giant phase in a few hundred thousand years that will incinerate our planet, but way before then, even in the next 10k years, a rise in temperature output from the sun, coupled with the moon slowly drifting away sending our axis wobbling more and more each year, will cause climate problems that will dramatically limit life on earth. ...
The "red giant phase" for the Sun won't start for at least 7 billion years (unless perhaps our descendents start mining it for large amounts of hydrogen, to fuel interstellar spaceships or something).
The Sun won't heat up sufficiently to start evaporating the Earth's oceans for at least 1 billion years.
I've been de-facto banned from leaving comments on Peter Woit's Not Even Wrong blog, for supporting string theorist Lubos Motl there.
That's totally against the rules. One of you is now banned.
Bearing in mind the recent posts and the OP's admittance Chris does 99% of the posting can we make it him. It is against the rules to ban anyone with norks as well.
