If you're signing up for the trial why are you asking us? Can't you wait 3 minutes and find out?

He'll have to wait for his daughter to show him how to use it. It usually takes a few weeks before he really gets the hang of these things

I was going to use it on Xbox but it requires a gold account so I didn't bother.

Getting pi55ed off with all the transactions required to do simple stuff, I recently bought a game that was asking my to upgrade for the 'full experience' the moment I put the disk in.

It probably only as good as your internet connection, I prefer SABNZB/NZBMatrix/ThunderNews with my bt infiniti connection, takes 10 mins to download an HD movie, my pc is connected to my HD projector and Onkyo sound system. If Cinemas lowered their prices and stopped chavs/neds getting in.

                +1

There are now loads of apps which require gold membership, which is annoying. I used to get it cheap when I was permie, but not any more

Doesn't bother me as always have gold account due to online gaming anyway.
At £30 a year I don't really notice the expense.

Not sure if Netflix is any good, but I've got LoveFilm and am happy with it, am on the package that gets me games too as figured its cheaper to pay LoveFilm £13ish a month rather than spending £40 a time on games.
