Well the whiners and whingers who reckon life is so much better across the water seem to singularly fail to find a forum in which they can indulge in verbal jesting with their new superior countrymen.
    Hard Brexit now!

      Ambivalent. Do as you please.

But why keep throwing bricks at old blighty from overseas? What is the point when you have already voted with your feet?

Just turn around, and keep walking.

Just like you seem to do with your wonderful permie job and permie colleagues?
          Just saying like.

          where there's chaos, there's cash !

I could agree with you, but then we would both be wrong!

              We've already left...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

I presume that was aimed at sasguru and AtW, both of whom are not contractors...Surely by your reckoning then links such as this should not be on this website.

No, you presume wrong. It was aimed at moaning expats in general.

Given a lottery win, I confess that I would not stop laughing until I stepped off the plane in Malta, but I would not then sign-up to a UK-based website to sit there slagging it off from afar.

True, the UK is not heaven, and it is going through difficult times, but it's nice to know it's there if you need it.

As I report to the MD, my "annual review" consists of lunch at a good restaurant and a general chat of how the year has been.
After which we horse-trade on divvying up the bonus pot and decide how much over the inflation figure we can get away with for a pay rise.
After that I split what's left among my team.
