Ah, can't be me then as I have never considered myself as an ex-pat. Like Mich I have spent very little time in the UK, mainly Africa and mainland Europe. In fact most of my life has been spent outside of the UK but I still love it but when I go there, I hate certain aspects of it. Mind you, I hate certain aspects of everywhere. I think of myself as a European living in Europe and benefiting from that fact.
