Private schools are charities and whatever the anecdotes they are more efficient than public sector schools and they provide better education - so why not give children, parents/guardians vouchers in order that they can enjoy the power of choice that the rich enjoy
    That's some voucher.
My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

It's in their interest to keep punters well so they can buy more booze and fags.

It's in their interests to maximise profits. I expect they will have excellent health economists on the case.

Got to avoid too many lawsuits too in that equation.

FWIW I think Tesco's tip-toe into the optician sphere is quite good for the less well off.

It's a lot of money to be taught that there are three halves in a year.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

Pretty insignificant when weighed against the costs of NOT educating children

Educating everyone to that level would lead to unrest when most still have to get jobs stacking shelves or sweeping floors.

Isn't that what immigrants are for?

Who says they all need to be educated to gain straight As at A levels? My point is to educate EVERY child to get the best out of them whether it be shelf stacking, being a high achieving recruitment agent, a low life contractor.

There are plenty of graduates stacking shelves in tesco right now - I know cos I placed them

Should all education be aimed at a job?
