    So how's everyone else going?

As of today I am still 31 pounds lighter than when I began.
Fairly happy at this weight and feeling wonderful.

Really struggled the last 4 weeks - luckily just before that I got ill and lost a bit of weight.

I am just about to give up potatoes and bread and cakes (on top of chocolate, coffee and alcohol).

At the moment I am only doing 14 hours of exercise a week. I must increase that. Alot.

I was thinking the same. I ride 8 hours a week, canoe a couple of hours, and I reckon I'd struggle to fit more in.

Cycling=10 hours=commuting 12 miles each way. Takes an hour as I have to stop every 100 yards for the red lights/lemming pedestrians.
              Swimming=4 hours=1.5 hours lessons/training and 2.5 hours lengths.

I have almost given up running now! As soon as I start it hurts my knees/back. Simply as I am too infrequent.

I really should be doing minimum 4 hours a week running. In fact, I should be commuting via jogging once every 2 weeks. And a 115 mile cycle every 2 weeks. And a long swim (2.5 miles plus) every 2 weeks.

I don't like this time of year. The SAD is really getting to me. I will be better after Dec 21st. I could just lie in bed at the moment.

Ah, of course, the commuting, I forgot you cycled to work.

I try and pump in a 100 miler once a week; quite easy round here thought to be honest...

SAD does me in. Working from home at the moment, and with the weather we've been having, it's been struggling to get light all week.

Some prefer cycling on hills as at least they get a rest. If the downhill sections are straight its not too bad. Unless you are built like MTT. What sort of time do you do 100 miles in? I would go for about 7 hours myself - assuming I did it as part of normal training and did not do carb loading or anything.

Careful what you wish for! I believe the end of the week will get sunnier and hence colder. Any sign of any flooding near you?

yeah - I'll just flick a switch and it will all be fine. Or do you have any tips?

I was woken up at 5:30 by baby bp (I must stop calling him that as he is now 5yo and the size of a 7 year old) climbing into bed. I should have booted him out but it is so rare to get any physical affection from him. 6:40-7:40 cycling into work. Lunchtime will be swimming.

What I miss is Tuesday/Thursday jogging sessions. But its the weekend that really lets me down. All I want to do is sleep. Saturday morning baby bp now likes to go to a soft play area in Beckenham - Gambados. I hardly see him in 2.5 hours. But I have to spend some time doing things to make the kids happy. Mrs BP can't go because of the noise.

It was all so different during the summer. Maybe I should adopt the Dallas training schedule. Drinking and attending a rowing club to look at the eye candy.....
