ministrone has been going on for ages saying we never pick up links to his sites (he'll never name them so I could not check anything), now that he offered to buy 1000 links just like this for this "bet" is a sure give away that the people he buys them from charge very little (good single link can cost $100+ per month) and that means most certainly links will be in worthless places.

A lot of our customers and free users take advantage of our data to decide whether it's worth getting a link from particular domain/URL - it is easy to check if proposed URLs for those backlinks are in fact well linked in the first place, if they are then our crawlers should be recrawling them but if they got no backlinks then those are likely to be worthless pages. We'd still pick up lots of those but it takes time because we'll give priority to recrawling well linked, highly desireable URLs.

My little Russian friend I am offering you a chance to put me down, a year long measurable experiment, one which I am willing to pay for and quite willing to let others observe. No strings, a chance to see you get the better of me but you will not offer the chance.

I will offer you a challenge.

I will create 10 URLs with content on day one. I will pay for 1000 back links, the 10 URLs will be given 30 back links per day. This will take just over one month. Links and URLs will be provided to a third party poster. I suggest that the links be given one month to bed in. Each month thereafter I produce 1 web link and we compare how your stats on that link compare to google's webmaster stats on each URL

I would think you want to prove to the customers that your crawl rate produces information worth purchasing. I thought my fairly simple test would offer you a chance to prove that.

If your snake oil was worth buying you would welcome the chance for a competition.

We allow free verification of domains on our site to get 100% of data - this is a very good way to test data for free and decide if you trust it or not. So far it worked well and a fair amount of people who've checked free data decided to subscribe and obtain data on their competitors.

If you are not convinced by it then go use some other tools and leave me in peace, ok?

Your crawl rate is not good enough to be a productive SEO tool, you have done a good job but do not pretend you have more than a curiosity.

As has been said people searching for SEO do not find majestic SEO on the first 100 pages on google.

Why does that matter. Its a tool for professionals not otherwise. I don't know many SEO professionals that get sales via SEO its more likely to come from contacts and appearing at conferences.
