As has been said people searching for SEO do not find majestic SEO on the first 100 pages on google.

And how is this relevant?!?!

We are not even targeting that term (SEO on it's own) - there are around 1 bln matches for it.

Now if we were called SEO on seo.com then maybe it would be reasonable to expect to rank #1, but they are ranking #3 in US google but I would not hold it against them since first 2 entries are on highly trusted and well linked URLs/domains.

Yes, they are an agency whose job is to get people ranked higher than others as well as doing PPC stuff and other clever things.

Like it or not majestic does not have the power to keep an accurate back log of back links and until you take the chance to prove myself otherwise I will always consider SKA nothing other than a curiosity.
