It's relatively poorer relative to many other nations that it was. Large swathes of our once publicly owned infrastructure has been privatised and is now owned by foreign interests. The average lifespan is decreasing. Income inequality is rising. Free higher education is starting to disappear. We're massively in debt both as a country and individually. We are not a country on the up, however you try and spin it.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I think it's based on his experiences while visiting Malaga and Aiya Napa.

Now we can go it alone and leave Europe to continue its inevitable decline, while we once again face outwards towards the broader world.

              We're ready for the challenge!

You can blame New Labour for much of that. In the 1990s Britain's GDP/debt ratio was the lowest of the major economies in Europe and its pensions provision was the best.
With the right policies we can get there again, but reversing 15 years of Labour mismanagement is going to be hard.
                Hard Brexit now!

If it wasn't for that German .net social scheme for dunces that provides the likes of you and milan with employment, you'd be lucky to get a job at McD's.

I gotta say, that .net social scheme has treated me very well, and I am very
                      grateful to it

                      and long may it continue

lot's of great new tech coming too in the .net area, sup, hana, 73 and ehp's etc etc etc

should keep us parasites off the streets for another 5 years
