The Strain

Series 2 of the Strain starting on Watch this Wednesday at 10pm, Series 1 was a bit and miss, may give this one another punt to see if it gets any better (a la Dominion Series 2 which is miles better than the 1st one).

I've just started Once Upon A Time with the Mrs, she has seen them all already, so after two episodes I have annoyed her with questions about what is going to happen in later episodes

I loved it, they could have thrown in Udo Kier as a Nazi but apart from that it was fun to watch

I think the best way to view Prison Break is as described in Peep Show:

and Prison Break... by the end I very much felt I wanted to break out of the prison that Prison Break had become

• Series 1 is great
• Series 2 the fact they're not in a prison any more seems to fox the writers somewhat
• Series 3 the entire cast end up in an even worse prison, in an utterly unconvincing manner
• Series 4 they just give up the prison aspect entirely in favour of the stupid government conspiracy angle, every episode half the cast change sides

I'd watch S1 and treat it as if they never made any more.
