    Strikers should be shot.

Are they bringing in Ashley Cole for the job?

I don't have a problem with striking, only with unions.
I think Clarkson would agree with you

I agree with him; anyone should have the right to withdraw their labour. They just shouldn't expect to have a job when they come back, purely by virtue of being a member of a trade union.

An employee of a publicly owned business too!

That's why they want him out; they see him as a traitor to their cause. Of course they know he was joking, but they hate him anyway.

A spokesman for the actors union Equity, speaking in support of Mr. Clarkson has called for Dave Prentis to be sacked. etc. etc.

Grow up guys, no-one cares, it's just one guys opinion, no-one will really get shot. Get on with your lives, there are more important things going on in the world right now to worry about!

Well, to be fair, onions spend lots of time in sacks and maybe they just want humans to know how they feel for once.

Todays award for senseless political point scoring goes to this waste of space :

Jon Trickett , Labour's shadow minister for the Cabinet Office, said: "No one wants these strikes but most of today's strikers are mums, not militants.
"Clarkson should apologise. And the Prime Minister should make clear he disassociates himself from the distasteful remarks uttered by one of his friends."
I back Jeremy, most private sector workers have seen their benefits & wages cut dramatically to pay for this lot. No wonder we are short on sympathy.
