I agree with him; anyone should have the right to withdraw their labour. They just shouldn't expect to have a job when they come back, purely by virtue of being a member of a trade union.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostI think Clarkson would agree with youAnd what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? That's why they want him out; they see him as a traitor to their cause. Of course they know he was joking, but they hate him anyway. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

Well, to be fair, onions spend lots of time in sacks and maybe they just want humans to know how they feel for once.Originally posted by Basil Fawlty View Posta trade onion trying to get someone sacked, what's the world coming to ??And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Todays award for senseless political point scoring goes to this waste of space :
I back Jeremy, most private sector workers have seen their benefits & wages cut dramatically to pay for this lot. No wonder we are short on sympathy.Jon Trickett , Labour's shadow minister for the Cabinet Office, said: "No one wants these strikes but most of today's strikers are mums, not militants.
"Clarkson should apologise. And the Prime Minister should make clear he disassociates himself from the distasteful remarks uttered by one of his friends."Comment
