Ah, this is pea soup with smoked sausage, a true Saxon delicacy, but here in the Neanderthaland it's called 'Snert', and the sausage is cut up into smaller pieces; it is then accompanied by rye bread and smoked ham; a very warming treat after a long winter walk or bike ride (or skating, for that matter).Originally posted by Arturo Bassick View Post
