Bob has had a copy of the F-Spec and LDM for weeks, and has been booking idle time against the project. Bob has only just read the F-Spec. Bob was also present in all of the workshops. ClientCo has complained about how frakin useless Bob is, how little attention they pay in the workshops and how whenever they open their gob nothing of any worth actually comes out.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras. -

So does the doc contain the information he needs or not? Specifically, performance measures and data definitions?Comment

Surely it's do your bit well, don't get drawn in, then when they need you they will ask and you get them to extend your contract to do the extra work. Plenty kerching without having a heart-attack or being a pushover like you.
Just saying like
Edit : Are you such a pushover because you lack confidence in your abilities? Are you one of these have a go types, jack of all trades?Last edited by suityou01; 3 November 2011, 18:52.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Clearly, he doesn't. Seems to me he's lacking an understanding of your requirements and effective leadership. Whilst neither may be your responsibility but I have to wonder, having completed the investigative and design elements, what is your role now? If it is partly to support the build phase with business knowledge and to provide continuity between what has been agreed and what is being built then I see where the problem lies.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostPerformance measures are defined in the non funcs. I am the BPM architect. My role is to oversee the development of the BPM stuff. I have even negotiated getting my hands a bit dirty to do some development.Originally posted by tractor View PostClearly, he doesn't. This guy is the sharepoint lead. His role is to gather requirements, do mockups and contribute his part of the F-Spec and oversee development. So far we only have my parts in the F-Spec, so only my parts can be developed. Seeing as I am overseeing this piece, and also lending a hand with development I am plenty busy thanks very much.
The project manager is clear enough about roles and responsibilities. Bob is the limp dick.
