I am a huge Thatcher fan - but it is entirely wrong that any ex-PM should receive a handout from the government.They could earn money by going in the stocks at the local fete and letting the public throw wet sponges at them.
Surely the money could be better spent on bankers' bonuses?
Yes they also deserve every penny as without banking what industry do we have, the finanacial sector is the backbone of this country now and without it we are fooked so pay the money
