They claim to support democracy, yet undermine it at every opportunity joining fascist groups like United Against Fascism which is the biggest fascist movement since the nazi's.

So in short, will all the liberal labourites please go and jump off a cliff and take your fascism with you? The world would be a better place without those fools telling everyone who they should and shouldnt vote for and acting like petty thugs/murderers.

        Hear hear!

It amuses me how on many forums, columns, etc, people blame the conservatives and thatcher for ills, such as power outages caused by striking.

Those people are retarded. Striking and power outages were happening in 1970, well before the conservatives took the helm. Yes, it is a shame everything got privatised, but there wasnt really any other viable option as labour had failed over multiple times in government to rectify the issue and instead let it escalate.

As dodgyagent said, she kickstarted the private sector and enabled banks to make us richer than ever before. Without her, none of us would have the prosperity (work) we all enjoy or at least enjoy the money we get from it. She worked harder than any other PM and stood up to terrorists hell bent on destroying businesses and maming citizens.

The same problem is happening nowadays. In the press and in public forums, there are numerous people convinced the current conservatives caused the economic collapse and refuse to acknowledge labour's reign of terror under the mentally ill, foreign piece of filth aptly named Brown.

She basically ruled the world. The Russian called her the Iron Lady, she dominated Europe, Reagan was in her back pocket and she sent the army and navy to deal with any other non super-power small pockets of resistance. Yep, the one and only.

                      I'm getting misty-eyed now.

Back in the early days I did an apprenticeship and had a 'job-for-life', that's the way it was for most people. Then thanks to tory cuts to the defence budget I was made redundant.

But rather than blame the witch, it dawned on me that it was because money for public services and welfare doesn't grow on trees, a fact that seems to be lost on the new generation of socialist Maggie-bashers.

I then realised pretty quickly that redundancy was the best thing that ever happened to me. Being forced to do it, I learned how to stand on my own two feet, look for work (which took ages at first), accept low-paid work between decent jobs, run a one-man business, and many of the other things that Poles and others are doing here now.

So I don't mind contributing - what does my share work out to - a third of a penny a year to those expenses.

Now, if it were Tony Blair he is a different kettle of fish...
