If I was looking for safe, luxurious and quality family transport with a £19K budget I'd be looking at

Audi : Audi Q7 3.0 TDI Quattro S Line DSG

DSG box is excellent, I must admit. Wifey had a Gti not so long ago with DSG and I was very impressed. Not been in the Q7. That's an awful lot of car for £19k, mileage not too bad either.

Does it not attract a £3000 charge, under ITEPA s155(3)?

Ok what about a Kia Sorento vs Mercedes A-Class in a head on crash?

Come on keep it up, we could stretch to another 25 pages of blinkered tedium.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I think a big plus with the Kia is no one would nick it or key it. So it has inherent security.

No, two tulip cars I wouldn't be seen dead in.

But in the interests of educating you, the old A-Class was a death trap, as it 'submarined', due to it's dual level floor, so I'd rather you drove one, than me. But you'd probably still choose an Audi over the Sorento

                      Keep up son.
