Are you, by any chance, one of those people called a 'back'?

If so, I shall defer to your expertise on fly halves, England centres and the hair care products of the L'Oreal corporation.

Meanwhile, leave the intelligent stuff to the forwards would you?

No, intelligent stuff like 'tactical stampings', 'strategic frogbashing', 'second phase rib destruction' and 'making the winger drink a pint of piss'.

Sadly yes, he's probably finished. He is only in now for his defence and his great kicking, and his kicking is no longer great. He never was good at the thinking bits, he left that to the likes of Greenwood and Dawson.

Do you guys really think JW will have another off day? I'm not so sure; I suspect Flood will start (superior hairstyle), and JW will come in late on in the game and score an ice cool drop goal.

His last two kicks in the Scotland game were top class, especially getting himself together for the long drop goal after missing a few. I wouldn't write off Wilkinson just yet. Not a bad guy to have on the bench.

Am I just imagining things or are the players getting less colossal?

You see mountains like Dallaglio, Johnson, and Thompson and the younger guys seem to be more lithe.

Is Union turning into League where the play is dictated by whippets not scrum pack weights?
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

I think second rows are becoming somewhat slimmer as the scrums, being refereed so amobinably, are turning into a farce and 2nd rows are being used as extra back rows. Front row players have generally lost the bellies. Backs have got bigger, especially the wings and centres. Dallaglio was actually quite athletic, perhaps a little more so than Johnson. Thompson is old school and nearing the end of his career; he's not as effective as he once was, but you always need a couple of old hairy arses in the forwards for when things turn muddy and bloody.

You'll start me on a Brian Moore style rant about straight put-ins at the scrum at this rate.

Despite the attempted cheating. I am amazed there haven't been further repercussions to this attempted ball switching by England.

                    Good luck England.

"I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win. If they're not good enough, they'll not win - and they can't look at anybody else, whether it is referees or any other influence." - Walter Smith

Begrudgingly I have to say you have a point there; MJ's gamesmanship can be bloody irritating. he's going to get England into trouble some day.
