That's not India. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions! -
Not sure why everone's so mad on XJSs they are fugly, if competant. Why not an XKR or XJR or even a Stype R? Plenty of BHP and comfort too, and loads of choice for 10k.Comment

BMW : 2006 BMW 335i SE Coupe, Low Mileage, ImmaculateOriginally posted by ChrisPackit View PostI'm shortly after a weekend plaything but I'm not overly flushed at the moment so criteria would be:
- £10000 budget
- Must be 4 seat (or 2+2)
- Prefer an older Sports model where the depreciation has hit bottom.
- Must be reasonably fast.
Shortlist so far:
- 1980's 2 Door Sierra Cosworth
- Lotus Carlton (though it would be the bottom end of the market)
- TVR Cerbera
- BMW 1980's M3 (Again, arse end of the market though)
Any more thoughts / suggestions / owning experiences?
Ta
As fast (some say faster) as the last M3 and not so obvious

It's an excellent car, very tunable. Being a chav I prefer the M Sport over the SE.Originally posted by Bagpuss View PostComment

He wants something for 10k ish, giving it bling costs more and adds nothing to the funOriginally posted by DimPrawn View PostIt's an excellent car, very tunable. M Sport 335i has a more sporty suspension (read hard) and spoilers than SE and everyone knows cars with spoilers are faster.Originally posted by Bagpuss View PostHe wants something for 10k ish, giving it bling costs more and adds nothing to the funComment

Most say it's too hard, here's an SE that must be faster, although the mileage seems too good to be trueOriginally posted by DimPrawn View PostM Sport 335i has a more sporty suspension (read hard) and spoilers than SE and everyone knows cars with spoilers are faster.

Trouble is for the same money as the 335i (which looks rather dull and common these days) you can get a 645i even in drop top guise, which I think is a better weekend plaything. The 335i is an IT bods commuter car, not a plaything.

What about an old style M635CSi? Or an 8 series? While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment
