Old, it's going to be trouble, lots of very expensive trouble. Probably rust issues too.

Well, whatever you choose you can't go wrong with these chaps.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

        - £10000 budget
        - Must be 4 seat (or 2+2)
        - Prefer an older Sports model where the depreciation has hit bottom.
        - Must be reasonably fast.

          Weapon of Choice:

          1999 MERCEDES-BENZ S CLASS S55 AMG 4DR AUTO - £5K

Although I prefer the older W140 luxo-barge Benzs.

Very good. As it happens I have a 1970 Series 1 4.2 manual with 42K from new.

                Nice.

Can't see the point in changing gear when you drive something like that though.

It doesn't really matter as it was bought to sell on. The auto box on these things blunts performance and the manuals are jolly rare.

Anyway, here is another suggestion if it is a weekend plaything:

                  1994 BENTLEY TURBO R ACTIVE RIDE AUTO 4 SPEED CAR - £10K

I almost fell asleep looking at that car. Can you get anything more boring and plain than that?
