If an idiot permie me look bad then I do something about it. Usually mitigating the risk by either doing something differently to marginalise them or battering it through anyway and making them look like cretins when their bit is the only bit outstanding.

If an idiot permie makes others look bad then that's their concern.

      WNATS

I was expecting to read that you're back on the bench as of Monday.

They like you, you can work on how you present this kind of information for next time...

I thought this thread was going to be about sharks. And in pretty poor taste too. Disgusting.

I agree with Cojak agreeing with WNATS. The permies already despise contactors so you may as well use that position to point out how crap they are at their jobs.

If any get too rattled just give them a big and a then submit your latest invoice.

I actually agree with most of the above.

My normal reaction would be to document, head down, and keep invoicing, but I think 18 months without a holiday is taking it's toll a bit, short temper etc etc.

Excuse me folks, my next tequilla slammer has arrived... [lick, drink, suck, wince]

I see nothing wrong with pointing out short comings, as has been said, sometimes it is the right thing to do and something which I do myself.
But to take on the legal team is (IMO) just asking for trouble. These people literally have university degrees in argueing!

To be clear, I didn't copy in a lot of people, it was to their HOD and a couple of stakeholders. I agree that those recipient-list-of-thousands-type rants are pretty suicidal.

I hope you've taken the rest of the day off, lest you waltz back into clientco and chin someone.

I have. And have also handed my notice in. I am not a happy bunny.
