Excuse me folks, my next tequilla slammer has arrived... [lick, drink, suck, wince]
Silly boy, bet you would not drive your car for 18 months without a service.

I always plan holidays, if you don't, by the time you feel you need one it's too late.

Have a re-think this is not the way to go.

As MD of your ltd., your job is to maximise your profit, and keep the company alive.

That means sometimes being gobby, sometimes being a mouse. It's horses for courses, square peg in a square hole, and always using the maximum number of sayings or proverbs

Sounds like you did the right thing your conscience is clear.

Well done is this the start of the rate rise negotiations?

              Where are you drinking?

Sounds like you need someone to mop your brow as you yak in the pub toilets.

I know, I know. You'd think after this long I'd have learned. Mrs Tensai nags incessantly about it, in between looking at the Porsche and Tiffanys brochures

IMHO raising risks and issues that are outside of your control is the best bit about being a contractor. If I couldn't do that, I'd pack up straight away.

                    Well done.

Not surprising, sad to say. This is exactly why 99.9% of organizations are so sclerotic. Communication upwards is not allowed. No feedback loops, no reform. Ever.
