Well some decent aftershave should solve that problem.

If you notice elsewhere I do at times provide helpful replies. The problem is that its easy to tack a babyish attack on you and you always rise to the bait.

I know its foolish but it passes the time which is why we are here.

Back on the list, I think we're at 7...

#7 Deliver something to an outstanding quality early in your contract, even if it's just the documentation/scoping work, especially if everyone else around you are timewatching slackers. You can ride the credibility of that for at least three months until you can deliver bigger things. It's amazing how an early demonstration of competence can follow you through your career.

May I suggest paying HMRC on time? (just to keep them from sniffing)

Trust all recruitment agents, give up your references without waiting to be asked or told.

I think that should be made rule number one. It kills two birds with one stone. It gets you a guaranteed extension proving to all future clients that you are not a knob. And it sets you aside from the whining permies that all sit there coveting your cash.
