Have you tried emailing Rob direct - or marking for his attention to Member services. Worked for me.
Having said that, they clearly still are in a mess, Online chat is still down, phones not working etc. Depends how many are trying to email Rob directly now!

And by the way, for goodness sakes Parasol - sort out your misspelling on the online chat screen
"Available" has three "A"s in it.

If they correct that, you know they are at least monitoring the board!

I've been with parasol for seven months now, in that time:

One payment was a week late because I missed the post getting my timesheet to my agent.

One payment was a week late because the agency was slow in raising the invoice.

This week, they were one day late getting the money into my bank.

But I am still waiting for a reply to an email. .........................

        Atsco

Parasol IT are members of ATSCO (Association of Technology Staffing Companies) who do accept complaints from contractors regarding members.

I have spoken to them once regarding Parasol and amazingly I got almost an instant response from Parsol regarding one matter, unfortunately I now have other problems.

I wonder (alound) if a large number of people complain directly to ATSCO might we get an improvement in service.

ATSCO can be found at http://www.atsco.org/

response received. Replied to one of the Customer Service emails rather than seding to the "members" address *snigger* and that seemed to work.

Looks, lads, ATSCO is staffed by agents and won't do jack. The only way is to vote with your feet and do what you should have done ages ago: form your own Ltd where you, not some hair-gelled shyster who for some reason you trust to look after your money, call the shots.

I've worked for an agency who were very active in ATSCO and they do take any complaint very seriously. I also seem to remember that they have now closed the door for non-agency members as it was becoming too top heavy with legal people and other service providers. So if complaints are justified it might mean someone being kicked out in the worse case and not being allowed back in. They also don't just let anyone in...P4 being one e.g.

                Thanks Torran

Took Torran's advice replyed to latest Parasol email and got a response.

                Whoopie Sh*t!

My current contract does not allow me to give notice so I don't think I can just become limited.

I am going to pass on Terms & Conditions, contract details, Service Charter (don't make me laugh) and a lengthy document describing the trouble I have had over the last few weeks over to friendly legal advisor to see it there is a way to get out of my contract with Parasol.

I left Parasol last year in mid contract, you just need to get your agency to issue a fresh contract to your new provider / ltd and stop using them. They also have a leave option on their website which starts the process to get your P45 - I would expect a delay in that if they can't even answer the phones. The only issue is that you may have to go on an emergency tax code in the short term until that P45 arrives but across the year the tax evens itself up.

I suggest you go ltd and as long as they pay up what they owe give the legal stuff a miss as it can be costly (especially if you lose). And they will have deeper pockets than you!

                    ATSCO details

The person at ATSCO who is investigating Parasol is Marilyn.Davidson@atsco.org

Send her your details and how much you owed etc.

I have my fingers crossed Parasol are just hopeless (not bankrupt) and I will get my money, it has spurred me into going ltd though, more hassle, but at least I control the money.
