What was an issue was the added complication of the shorter Easter period and a significant increase in payment volumes over the norm (and in this context this means a normal Easter).

Errmm !!! Easter is and always has been a 4 day holiday, its never been longer and its never been shorter... What are they on about!!!!

It is called an excuse. And a poor one at that.

I have now come to the conclusion that the only way forward is to cut all these incompetant middlemen out and go limited. They seem to come in 2 categories of either a bunch of crooks or incompetants. Some seem to start off well but when they get to a certain size they then fall into one of the default categories. Probably true in a lot of other businesses as well I suppose.

        Any more news?

        Hi all

Is anyone else still having problems with pay?

Despite days of trying to get through by phone (engaged or queue), and no response to emails or service tickets, I still haven't been paid since the end of March. The "view invoices" and "pay tracker" pages don't make any sense at all - this new system looks well and truly screwed.

I also think it's a bit p**s poor that they've not had the decency to email members informing us of progress, for over two weeks. I only came across this forum by chance, after thinking the worst and searching for "parasol receivership" on Google...

Got paid for the 2 weeks they owed me today. Have had several emails from them over the last couple of weeks giving an overview of the problems - sure your email details are correct, or you're spam filters aren't blocking them?

Not sure what's going on there. Last update I got was 19th (then an email on 20th reminding us to post timesheets). Maybe they are only emailing people they *think* are still having problems? Been trying to ring main switchboard all morning (engaged). Just got through twice, but both times they hung up on me before answering. Not good is it?

Hope not! I think he's just saying he has now got a Ltd company and won't need to use Parasol any more.

I used Parasol before in 2001-2003 and was generally very satisfied with the service, so (after a spell back as permanent) I signed up with them again for a new contract starting in April, with monthly billing, and am now due to enter my first timesheet. I'm uncertain whether to get on and do it or wait a bit longer for the crisis to settle down.

What's the latest view from fellow Parasol consultants? Are Parasol getting the invoices out OK? Is the problem more on the payroll side? They're still obviosuly swamped with e-mails and phone calls, but I'm hoping that's more to do with the backlog of problems that arose when they first changed systems rather than continuing system problems? Doesn anybody know?

Finally got my expenses paid yesterday by CHAPs ! Hurrah !!! Only took 3 weeks

Weekly timesheet paid ok . Looks like situation has returned to normal at Parasol. Wish they'd fix their phone system though. Spent about 30 minutes on hold again...
