No idea about what the motivation is but the large family/high benefits is accurate enough. Time we clamped down on immigration from any third world country apart from closely checked high earners so we could see they are mostly an asset instead of just having to pretend.

It is true though that there is a lot of variation even in the UK. Bangladeshis are way behind in Tower Hamlets, not very much so in Bristol. Crime in the Midlands must explain the quite disproportionate numbers of Muslims in our prisons because in London and the South East they seem to figure very little - see Crimestoppers any week when Asian faces/names do not figure very much at all.
