          Slough definitely has the worst tescos I have ever been in though. It constantly feels dirty and looted

          Slough was a horrible drive from Yorkshire. I ended up getting the plane then bus from Heathrow. As long as I picked my flying times carefully I could get away with standby tickets - no contest!

          I started out staying in a country pub to the west, but once I decided to leave the car at home I found a nice spot in Maidenhead, a short train journey away.

          Oh, just remembered - I would have spent summer evenings exploring the area, but the buses stopped running too early. WTF?
