What any of you understand when families were made to disown their parents after they got arrested in a slim hope they won't be branded as children of enemies of state? I'd rather vote Labour for the rest of my life than allow some idiot glorify Stalin without telling him in his face that he is the right piece of tulip who deserves to die in GULAG.

14 mln people went through GULAG, probably more, over 1 mln dead for certain, most likely more since many people died later when they were released due to fecked up health.

During WW2 massive losses were suffered due to incompetence and general approach to war, we are talking about 30 mln dead (Hitler obviously is also responsible for it, but it should have been expected that he'll attack).

Combined that's about population of UK.
