I didn't say an exact copy. There has to be a system available that would be fair yet robust.
Obviously what we have in place now is nowhere near good enough or there wouldn't be thousands of youths thinking they can get away with what they've done.Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

"One of".... what were the others?Originally posted by SueEllen View PostThe US system jailed and put on death row a guy who when interviewed was clearly retarded.

If the death penalty was such a good deterrent they would barely have to use it.Originally posted by Lockhouse View PostAnd what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

They use it pretty rarely, but I still disagree with it.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostIf the death penalty was such a good deterrent they would barely have to use it.
Shooting attacker in self defense however is the human right that they forgot to put into Human Rights Act.Comment

£1000 per prisoner per year isn't even close to what it costs. And if you're so insistent on shipping them off to another country and building a prison for them, how about Russia? The whole country is a god forsaken tuliphole and there's plenty of space for a few mega-prisons.Originally posted by AtW View PostEverything is possible, make a deal with Scotland and pay them £1000 for each prisoner per year.
It's only expensive if you do tulip like playstations, cut costs right down - it should not cost much more than some cheap food per year plus salaries of guards - automate things as much as possible.Comment

I can't actually remember but they were similar stupid things.Originally posted by Mr.Whippy View Post"One of".... what were the others?
Seriously the guy is as slow and as intelligent as one of my neighbours' adult kids.
The difference between my neighbour's son and this guy, is my neighbour's son had 2 parents to fight for him even though they are divorced.
Oh and my neighbour, his father, also managed to move to where I am to prevent his son hanging out with bad people that would lead him astray."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

You can use reasonable force against an attacker.Originally posted by AtW View PostThey use it pretty rarely, but I still disagree with it.
Shooting attacker in self defense however is the human right that they forgot to put into Human Rights Act.
If someone breaks into your home, they are facing you, you stab them and they die then you are extremely unlikely to face charges.
However if you shot them in the back whilst they are running away then you will be put on trial."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
