Maybe they should deputise community members as special constables to help protect areas when there's obviously not enough full time manpower available.

Part of the problem is that people are too scared to stand up to the gangs of tulipheads for fear of reprisals. 'Community members' are suffering enough already.

Maybe they should look at the causes rather than just using brute force, it may dampen it down for a while but it will continue to erupt.

But why do they have no stake in society? Misfortune? Perhaps... but a lot of it is because they don't want to / are too lazy to. Opportunities exist, they just can't be bothered if they can get a lifetime on free handouts.

It's that, grow a backbone and stand up for your community, or welcome a police state where you have to rely on the authorities to keep you safe.

Well, it's the police's and justice system's job to prove that they are wrong by putting them into pretty tulipy jail for a long time.

They get institutionalised and so can only cope when they are in prison so become life long criminals.

Some children don't have the believe they exist for them and their parents are some of the worse culprits in ramming this home to them.

Fine, I'd rather see them in jail than on streets.

Build cheap jails in the middle of nowhere, say in Scotland, very cheap - no ****ing playstations, if they don't behave well then jail time increases.
