As someone with probably only 4 or 5 posts on this General forum with the rest on the professional forums, I'd like to add my 2p worth: This forum is very clear in its setup, if you want to discuss substantive issues around contracting then go to those forums where you'll get moderated discussion, if you want to hang around in General then you live with the posting style.

It's a bit like going down the local working men's club and getting sniffy about people swearing and the lack of a decent wine selection.

There's a wine selection? What type of posh working men's club do you go to. In my local you get a choice of wine or wine.

p.s. are you busy tonight ?

Did your induction process ever end - Man, would love that treatrment from CM in her nun's outfit.....

And as regards threads, I would be happy for people to give their opinions. However, bullying appears to be endemic here for new members. If you are not in the 'ole boys club' then you are subject to insults rather than intelligent comments.

                    *sniff* You've hurt my feelings.

Now, I'm a bit inexperienced on this forum's etiquette of what's next: Should I go straight for the internet hard-man act or is it more polite to reply with a simple "**** you too"?

                      I doubt you'd survive.
