Bob sent me the list of users on our new OBIEE tool. Our most junior user can report on all of Europe, they don't seem to see a problem with staff paid sub £15k having access to Europe's customer list.

I keep getting profile fails for valid data but their profiling sql is wrong, using the wrong code for date detection - nice.

System deployed. 20 minutes inside of deadline.

Deployment failed again this
morning and by 11 o clock Bobs disapearing or sending emails to other bobs in same building. Eventually phoned a Bob and made him round up all individuals and put in a 'warroom'. Escalation made to senior director who then chaired call with me. Priority changed to drop all other work to fix it. Done and dusted.

Had already had a further extension until end of year and was followed up with 'MF - you're going to be here all next year as well.'

Now going to get kids tomorow and head off to caravan.

Bob has failed to deploy the system for over a week and I've been failing the UAT/Test phase for 7 days

Where I come from it's pretty normal not to deploy something that's failing tests. Then again I have mere balls of [googles "what are testicles made of?" and fails to get the anticipated simple answer]
