There's good countries and there's bad countries

Have you actually been to these countries?

I've met people from all of these countries.

However, it doesn't matter.

My point is how we have common pre-set ideas about the people from these countries.

This is the image we have here in Britain.

It would be interesting to think how we got these conceptions of different peoples of the world.

Are they genuinely bad (or good) people?

Are Dutch people born much better than Saudi Arabians or Israelis or Argentinians?

Is it because the are different from us and have different beliefs and ideas?

Is the perception fed by the media?

I wouldn't say that of the practioners of female circumcision some of these people would be good and some would be bad.

I wouldn't say that of those people who will not let females sit in the front of cars and who force them to stay home all the time some would be good people and some bad.

I wouldn't say that some of those people who torture are good and some bad (US Republicans included).
