Missed meeting - annoyed because nobody told me !!!!

Went to toilet came back everyone disappeared....

Had an inkling (due to the fact the place was empty!) that there might be a meeting but I knew not where. Of course, they all came back and the manager asks where I was !!!! Of course, I told him that nobody told me about it.

Nice one. So I look like either a) couldnt be arsed to go or b) so disorganised I forgot.

I missed a conference meeting 4th day into my new contract, it was in my calender but for some reason outlook didn't pop me a reminder. Worse still, the PM was sat right behind me on the call, once finished, turned around and asked why I wasn't on the call. Que bumbling excuse. Nightmare.

Thing is I've found that when this happens people tend to think - contractor cant be bothered rather than anything else...
