Is Money the only TRUE satisfaction from contracting?

I get bored easily, might as well contract and embrace the change!
Contracting also keeps me a lot busier, no lengthy periods of only house keeping work, which then also means I learn faster which I enjoy.

The money is the biggest incentive for me, however I also like the change of enviroment and meeting new people. I could never work in one place for more than a few years.

No, but it's a big reason for doing it instead of perming.

The variety from moving around every year on average is also a true satisfaction, for me anyway.

Not getting involved in permie politics, staff development and that kind of stuff is another.

Sad if it is, because in contracting you'll never make as much money as people who are reasonably good at a reasonably established profession, or reasonably senior in a reasonably large company.
