Immediate family - we have our scraps but generally we all get on, ok. Although right now, I could cheerfully beat the living daylights out of my brother for being a cock.

Extended family.... all the f3cking time. Usually the same one or two at the root of it all mind you.

My side is relatively normal but we dont see a huge amount of eachother, couple of times a year, and we live a decent distance apart from eachother.

MrsB's family is the usual cause of strife. She avoids them as much as possible. We moved to get away from them 10 years ago and we both agree it's the best thing we ever did.

One of the reasons we have put off getting married is that we don't want her family meeting mine. (She likes my family, gets on well with them and doesnt want to spoil it!)

Looks like it's not just me then....I haven't spoken to my parents in nearly a year and haven't seen them in 18 months.
