2 pints of bitter, some peanuts and a brown paper bag is standard operating procedure.

The Mayans didn't actually assert that the world would end in 2012. All that happens in 2012 is that the Mayan calendar comes to the end of its Long Cycle.

What happens at the end of the Long Cycle, you might wonder?

The next Long Cycle begins, is the answer.

I have always have a feeling of malaise about these end of the world predictions. Especially this 2012 Mayan one. I like to think of it as Mayanaise.

I'm pretty sure I have, but I don't actually remember anything about it. That should tell you something.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Well I may or mayan not be watching it right now, depending on whether that's illegal or not, and am still not sure whether I've seen it before. I think I have and mayan well be fast-forwarding through it.

It's not even a very good calendar, it's only got 360 days in a year.
