To be honest ever since I hid my connections I don't get hassled and generally the only people I get contacted by are agents that I have spoken to regarding roles.
I also find it easier to post that I'm looking for work in my status and agents then contact me anyway.
If someone contacts me that i do not wish to do business with, then I ignore it.Last edited by norrahe; 18 May 2011, 07:52.Comment

There used to be an issue with the LinkedIn LION members - people who would accept any invitation and willingly advertised the fact. The LinkedIn bods didn't like this as it broke the spirit of what LinkedIn was about. At some point they backed down and let them get on with it.Coffee's for closersComment
