The odd one turns up in the Cafe till and a lot of people won't take them so they usually end up going to the bank. When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment

Does the data exist in a form that is actually useful?
You don't need statistics to tell every other not our brother would say we're operating at a loss to the economy. Is that an incentive for independence?
For all the wealth that sits on our doorstep you'd not believe it. I say we dump the pound as well and join the euro at the same time."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

Can you imagine the furore if Scotland go independent, join the EU and Euro, and then apply for a bail-out?

I'm English and I'd vote for Scottish independence in a heartbeart.
Think about it.
1. You'd get rid of a load of parasitic, violent drunks.
2. Take away the Scottish votes and the Labour party would never form the Government in England ever again!
Salmond for President!

I'd be interested to know just how many Scots would vote for independence, for that matter who would be eligible to vote? I'd guess only those on the electoral rolls in Scotland.
It would have a noticeable effect on Westminster elections if Scotland did secede.Comment

I don't think the same amount that voted today for SNP. Union or no union I want to see the country prosper with the long term in mind. I'm not sure that has happened as long as I've been alive. Furthermore I might say the same for the UK in general. London serves London well but craps on the rest of the UK.Originally posted by TykeMerc View PostI'd be interested to know just how many Scots would vote for independence,"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience".
