It's a pity the kid has to suffer but if the above is the case, which I'm not saying it is, the parents must take the rap.
At the time there was a BBC reporter out there accompanying someone working for one of he aid organisations dealing with refugees. On hearing the story of one group of young men, the aid worker said in private "Yeah, right. They claim to have walked 200km but look at their designer trainers and jeans. They're immaculate. These guys probably came by Mercedes."

But with no papers to prove otherwise, what could the aid worker do but accept their word for it?

Whatever happened, I feel sorry for the daughter.

        What an extaordinary situation.

        The mind truly boggles.

        Poor kid.

It's nice that your daughter is showing her friend some support and I hope their friendship continues as best it can.

The political pressure for this sort of action is from the EU in order to legitimise the independence of Kosovo and for Kosovo to be an EU member ASAP. I was very much for the EU but IMHO, the EU has been hijacked by dictators and multinational companies based in the Cayman Islands run by directors who don’t even live in Europe; the EU has lost its way.

This sort of action sickens me especially when you see what illiterate scum are allowed in to the UK and EU while good people are refused entry or deported.

Laws should not be used impartially. Since we probably can't get rid of them all, we should concentrate on removing the real problems.

Hmmm. Every story is someone's life. When you hear a personal story, you cannot help but feel for the people involved. With the odd newsworthy exception, most of the "illiterate scum" are also people trying to make a better lives for themselves and their families. Their kids are also someone's classmates.

No it isn't. The political pressure comes from semi-literate Daily Wail reading Alf Garnett replicas who whinge about 'them foreigners' while they can't be arsed to get up and sort their own bloody lives out. It's the same everywhere in Europe; whingeing losers demand government gets rid of foreigners, politicians attempt to appease them by deporting people, customs go after those who can't defend themselves, and those who end up victims are the ones who were supposed to be helped.

Its sad that your child had to deal with the absence of her friend. However, the parents knew they were inthe country illegally and they new that at some point they might get deported. Fact is they were illegal aliens and the authorities were perfectly entitled and correct in removing them.

Read the story again. She wasn't in Switzerland illegally as the Swiss authorities were busy legalising her stay; in that case, she is in Switzerland legally for the duration of that process.

But were the German authorities justified in having them removed from Switzerland to be deported, when the Swiss themselves weren't trying to deport them?
