PPS There are some seriously sad fookers on this forum. Foir the idiot who said he/she hoped my cat died, well it did, 5 years ago.
I do seem to have a much bigger capacity for giving out negs, than anyone else here. Lucky me

However I have noticed one of the nanny's children who is 2 and a bit and therefore bigger is very physical with him.
This morning she tried to lift him by the throat from behind obviously strangling him. I've seen her throw him to the ground witha kind of rugby tackle and bang his head on the wall.

Now I don't want to mollycoddle the boy but I think this is going too far. Its partly because I think 3 toddlers is too much for the nanny to look after.

What do the other parents think?
Sounds fairly normal toddler behaviour. If she's not actually hurting your lad it probably won't do him any harm. FWIW, I had a childminder who was great - her own kids were at school so there was none of the favouritism issues - she looked after 2 kids full time and 1 part time. Worked well for me, but it's about finding someone you like and trust.

Clearly, now we know who people met when they claim Wilmslow is real.

Would the kid not be better in a nursery, surely more social skills to be learned and no favouritism being shown?
It's a very normal set-up. There are lots of career-nannies and special websites to find them on.

Humans are programmed to love small children they are responsible for. A good nanny falls in love with the kids they look after, as do primary school teachers.

Up here, the people are friendly, the parents and they children come to our house sometimes and socialise, the children and the staff are really happy.

But then, I've found the people in the NE very happy and friendly in pubs, shops, work, etc. People here really enjoy themselves and are polite and welcoming.

i just find it strange when people put there children in the hands of strangers and then complain when somthing happens or is not how they expected it to be, some people spend longer choosing their new car than they do the people who look after their children
