Everytime I read about Germany throwing their industrial lead away, I feel a step closer to the collapse of the Euro and the great spekulative opportunity that will bring to us Brits.

Indeed. That's why in lots of places it's been introduced without a major fuss. I think it results in slightly less power and slightly higher fuel consumption.
