Yup, and that one where you put hairspray in a bin and stick your head in, or something.Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Only illegal stuff.Originally posted by Jubber View PostExactly ... why are alcohol and nicotine missing? Or are we only talking 'street' drugs?
You have to draw the line somewhere. If I had broadened the scope to include alcohol and nicotine then someone would be asking about caffeine, paracetamol, ibuprofen, cough mixture, immodium, viagra and so on.

So many of us have taken them at some point one can only hope that during this century people will come around to the view that prohibition does not stop anyone that wants to take drugs from taking them and worse, makes the supply lucrative business for criminals. (I think that but I know that many other views).
The only worry for me would be about what the criminals would have to do instead and I think that is the reason why the status-quo continues.Comment

If you are arguing in favour of legalising drugs, then I agree 100%.Originally posted by Gonzo View PostSo many of us have taken them at some point one can only hope that during this century people will come around to the view that prohibition does not stop anyone that wants to take drugs from taking them and worse, makes the supply lucrative business for criminals. Which does make one wonder why they can't be decriminalised and taxed. Not all of them obviously, because some of them are very bad for you, but certainly it ought to be considered for the ones that are pound for pound no more harmful than booze or fags.Originally posted by Gonzo View PostSo many of us have taken them at some point one can only hope that during this century people will come around to the view that prohibition does not stop anyone that wants to take drugs from taking them and worse, makes the supply lucrative business for criminals. Well, legalising some less harmful drugs would create legal jobs in production and distribution in the UK.Originally posted by Gonzo View PostThe only worry for me would be about what the criminals would have to do instead and I think that is the reason why the status-quo continues. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you.
