Booze is still a drug.Originally posted by EternalOptimist View Postjust a recap then, i agree that drugs is a mugs game
I've tried a few drugs over the years when they've been on offer, but have always preferred a pint, packet of pork scratchings and a game of pool. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

FFS, you must be one of the best adverts for "just say no!".

or have a decoy pint nearby, with a bottle of Dave's Insanity Sauce mixed in.Originally posted by EternalOptimist View Post
is knobbing a pint what I think it is ?
no wonder the girlies take thier drinks to the bogs with them.
in fact, I may start doing the same
either that, or leave such a little bit down the bottom, noone is ever going to reach down there

They'll only try it once, and you'll know who it was from the screams.
(As always with booby traps, the only snag is if you forget which is which, and take a large swig from the decoy.)Work in the public sector? Read the IR35 FAQ hereComment

Now that's very "grown up" are you pissed again/still?Originally posted by minestrone View PostOf course you are that exciting you brag about 12 hour office shifts then going to the gym. Must be intolerable living with you.
"How was your day Churchill"
"Great!! I worked for 12 hours then went to the gym"
"Zzzzzz Zzzzz"
You really are a borning arse tit and I pity your next 'life partner' as much as the previous 'life partner' you dusted off.Comment

I was referring to Minestrone complaining about my being boring. I've already said "you have your lifestyle and I'll stick to mine".Originally posted by original PM View PostNope sorry do not recall anyone saying drugs are cool - what have you been smoking??
Thing is many many people take drugs and only a small percentage of them are juveniles.
Taking mood and mind altering substances has been something man has done since the dawn of time - it is not to escape anything but to be able to view things from a different point of view and to loose preconceptions of a subject. This in turn allows a more rounded understanding of the subject matter.
Which can ( and has according to the history books) led to some interesting and important revelations.Comment

Churchill has a very basic mind, drugs are bad, booze is OK.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostYou do know "just say no" didn't work don't you?
Sometimes you need to appease his mentality, sometimes you have to question his thought train. I find the latter option quite entertaining.Comment

He doesn't.Originally posted by minestrone View PostChurchill has a very basic mind, drugs are bad, booze is OK.
Unfortunately everyone is gullible to stuff they been fed via the government particularly if they haven't tried a few things themselves or seen the effects on others.
As already pointed out some drug users look OK while others are completely ****ed. (Though getting people to admit they do stuff as "responsible" adults is hard.)"You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

If only it were a discussion rather than the ramblings of a drunken, unemployable, delusional Scot's moron who thinks having a discussion involves hurling insults over Hadrian's wall.Originally posted by minestrone View PostYou quite obviously are boring and struggle to put up a discussion beyond "**** off seriously"Comment
